Which service do you need?
Proofreading is the final check before your document is published. Here, I will check grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, references and layout.
Proofediting is proofreading plus a little copyediting thrown in for good measure. Here, as well as in the above, I will look for any repetition or cliches, make queries on anything that is unclear, and make minor changes.
Copyediting your document or manuscript involves the same checks as proofreading, plus applying house style, fact-checking, correcting tenses and point-of-view issues, and overall making sure your words read well for your intended audience.

- Revisions.

All projects are different, therefore quotes are tailored accordingly. Below are some rough guide prices.
Proofread: £15–£20 per 1,000 words
Proofedit: £17–£22 per 1,000 words
Copyedit: £19–£27 per 1,000 words
I do a free, no-obligation sample proofread or edit of a few pages. This allows you to assess me and for me to provide you with a more accurate estimate of the turnaround time and amount of work required.
